Our Mission

CanIStackThis was founded on the belief that supplement users deserve accurate, evidence-based information about supplement interactions and safety. We believe that access to comprehensive interaction analysis is essential for making informed decisions about supplement stacking.

Today that means one free list of everything you take, checked against itself, with daily totals that add up the real milligrams across your products. The warnings come from a curated interaction rule set we write and review by hand; the label amounts come from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database; and your list check uses no AI, so nothing on your list is sent to an AI service. Premium keeps things over time: history, lab history and DNA analysis. We don't sell supplements, run ads or take affiliate commissions, so nothing in our results is influenced by what anyone is selling.

Our Solution

Curated Rules, Not A Scraped Feed

The dangerous combinations are decided by a hand-written rule set, not by a model's judgment: serotonergic pairs, blood thinners, potassium with ACE inhibitors, thyroid and antibiotic mineral timing, and upper-limit overlap all have their own rules. Real product labels come live from the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database. We do not have access to proprietary medical databases or clinical trial data, and we say so on How We Score.

Your List Check Uses No AI

Nothing on your list is sent to an AI service. The check runs on our own servers, on the rules above, and every finding and its severity word (Major, Moderate or OK) comes from a rule we wrote by hand, never from a model. A language model does write the public pair guides under /stack, drafted before anyone visits from two generic ingredient names and no user data, and our rules check that draft and can only make it stricter. You can also choose to let AI read a label photo you take, which sends that photo; the consent card on your Account page is where you turn that on or off. Your list check is not affected either way, because it never uses AI, and nothing from your DNA file or DNA results is sent to an AI service. The full breakdown is on How We Score.

Who's Behind This

CanIStackThis is built and run by one independent developer — not a supplement company, not a marketing team. It exists because supplement–medication interaction info is scattered across a dozen sites and easy to miss, and because the tools that did exist all wanted to sell you something.

This site doesn't sell supplements, run ads, or take affiliate commissions — the only way it makes money is if the paid tools are genuinely worth paying for.
